The Exhibition:

The "OLD-SIAM" collection is trying to capture, using black/ white techniques, and vintage prints atmosphere, the spirit of the magical past we now can only dream of .

The photos romanticize the old structures and decorations, sending back the viewer to a none too distant period, where simplicity, nature and ethnical esthetic were prevalent .

" In the hectic urban world we live in, it is important to remind ourselves where we came from, and that even the flattening force of globalization can not disturb our inner sense of belonging, which is rooted in tradition and geographical individuality." Boaz Zippor .

The Photographer:

Boaz Zippor was born in Tel-Aviv in 1972 from a painter mother and an Architect father. After completing his military service as a medical sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces, he went to study Industrial Design in the Instituto -Europeo-di-Design in Milano. In his seven years stay in Italy he specialized himself in Multimedia and Online Marketing, consulting for international companies such as Avis, Microsoft, Compaq. Nestle and others. In 2001, Boaz had his first Solo-Exhibition of Mixed-Media large scale works in Spazio-Arte Gallery , Milano.

In 2002, he returned to Israel and opened an Industrial-Design firm specializing in lighting fixtures and “Do-It-Yourself Furniture” for large chains, based on innovative production methods and streamlined factory procedures. He moved to Bangkok in 2003 as Art-Director for an international Jewelry company, and Art-Director or Creative-Director in several companies, among them a California- Wow-Xperience Ltd. He then opened his own visual consultancy company “Boaz-Zippor-Creative-Co.Ltd”.

In 2006, he took part of a group exhibition in La-Luna Gallery in Chiang-Mai, and in 2007 sold several of his works to the permanent collection of Tanseem-Gallery in Barcelona .

Since 2006, Boaz focuses mainly on non-commercial Fine-Art projects. His own Fine-Art-Photography private gallery in Saphan-Kwai, Bangkok was inaugurated few months ago.

Boaz had his first Solo-exhibition of Fine-Art photography in Bangkok Thailand , in 2008. Most of his Art works are now part of Private Collections in Italy , Israel , New-York, Hong-Kong , Spain , Fiji and Thailand .

After years of active involvement in social projects in Israel , Boaz is now supporting several development projects in Thailand , especially in the field of education for under-privileged children. Since the beginning of 2008 is the acting Europe-Editor for LAW magazine, a publication dedicated to moral and ethical leadership models.
