The Photographer:
French/British photojournalist, Cedric Arnold started his photography carrier in London after studying at the University of Paris and The London School of Photojournalism.
Cedric was influenced by classic documentary photographers such as W Eugene Smith and took this "in depth" documentary approach to Northern Ireland , Paris , Prague , Bangkok , Phnom Penh , Hanoi.
After a first trip to Thailand and Cambodia in 2000, Cedric decided to settle in Bangkok in 2001, as a correspondent for the Corbis picture agency. He is currently working as a freelance photojournalist and commercial photographer in Bangkok , represented by Camera Press in London - covering Asia and South East Asia .
His work has been featured worldwide in publications such as: The Evening Standard, The Mail on Sunday, The Independent, Sunday Magazine, The Irish Times, Bazzar, Conde Nast, Destin Asian, Travel & Leisure, Nova, Eve, Elle, Le Parisien, La Croix, Le Point, Bangkok Post Magazine
In July-August 2004 Cedric's work on the Thai sport of Takraw was featured as a solo exhibition "Bangkok is our Playground" during the Bangkok Month of Photography. The same work was shown in Paris in 2005.
Cedric is currently working on a book about Contemporary Bangkok.
